So here we are in, at the end of January. The lowest, darkest time of the year. Christmas seems a long time ago. Spring still seems a long time ahead.
This is the dead of winter, when the ground is frozen, but underneath the seeds are waiting for the warmth of the sun, the time when they can grow again. They’re not doing nothing – they’re resting, gathering their energy, waiting to expand. And we can do that too.
These short, dark days are a great time of year to think and prepare – to do our own ‘groundwork’.
Let’s set ourselves up to succeed – by thinking and planning how to kickstart your life!
In my book I ask some questions which can help you make clear decisions. I always ask my students, “what is your mission?”. If they can’t answer, I know we have some work to do.
What is your mission in life? Where are you going? How are you going to get there? What’s your end game? What are you going to do to make your mark in this world in 2018?
By getting the answers to those questions clear in your mind, you can prepare the ground for a great year in 2018.
