I’d like to use this blog to wish everyone in the Panther Taekwondo community and everyone interested in or taking part in the martial arts a very happy Easter holiday.
I hope you’ve found the blog interesting so far – it’s a joy to write about my passion, to be able to communicate it and hopefully spread the enthusiasm I feel for something that really has taken my life to levels I couldn’t have imagined.
I certainly never dreamed when I opened the doors for the first time to welcome my students that I’d become a published author and achieve so many personal and professional goals. I feel humbled and honoured to have been able to play a small part in promoting this beautiful and powerful martial art which means so much to me.
In our diverse community of Panther Taekwondo, we celebrate many holidays and festivals, but in the next few days there’s one that means a lot to me. For me, Easter is about new life and new hope – and taekwondo is about that too. I think it can offer people a second chance, and a way to make their life better – more fulfilling, more meaning and more hopeful. It can build communities and inspire individuals. It’s open to all and has enormous power to inspire.
So whether you’ll celebrate this Easter by going to church or just by eating lots of chocolate eggs, I hope that you have been inspired to become part of the worldwide community of taekwondo.
Happy Easter to you all.
