I’m going to take a risk, and I’m ready
20th Annual Caribbean Weekender by the sea in sunny Southport. It’s a sell-out event with a great audience, and it will give me the chance to spread my message about what the martial art of Panther Taekwondo can offer to anyone, at any age.
Becoming an author has been quite a journey for me. Writing my book took a lot of self-discipline and resolve. There were times when it made me confront my self-doubt. It made me polish some old skills and also learn some new ones. But above all, it reminded me that change isn’t something we have to put up with, reluctantly dragging out feet along the way. Change is something that we should welcome and embrace – finding new opportunities and expanding our sense of the possible.
Right now, I’m feeling pretty nervous.
This weekend, I’ll have the chance to promote my book, Kickstart Your Life, to a whole new audience at the I’m going to take a risk, and I’m ready
When you write a book, you also put a little bit of your soul right out there in the public eye. Authors can’t hide – if you’re not authentic when you write, or when you speak about your book… it’s going to show. You’re take a risk – and I’m ready for the risk. More than anything else, I’m excited. Excited to have this opportunity, and excited to think that there will be people in the audience who are hearing about the amazing martial art of taekwondo for the very first time. Based on what I say and how I behave, they could decide to give it a try, and a whole new future path could open up for them. That’s the power of words. It’s why I’m so proud to be an author and speaker, and so looking forward to stepping out onto this new stageCHECK OUT OUR
